Was there ever a cartoon's animation that just caught all your attention and you thought looked really good?

I remember watching a few clips on YouTube from the old arcade game "The Dragon's Lair" after watching the Video Game Nerd's review of the NES version and it just really stuck with me. The characters felt so alive, the faces were well drawn, it was expressive while still being smooth.

I also loved the way The Mayor moved in Horton Hears a Who. He was flexible, had inhuman powers whenever he wanted (Moving very quickly like Johnny Bravo would), and was just a general fun to watch move around.

Disney's Alladin comes to mind...when Jafar turned the jeanie evil and he stole the castle and put it high atop a mountain...I thought to myself...now thats some great looking animation.

After hearing John K praising Bob Clampett's cartoons, I just had to start freeze framing the scenes.
Ren and Stimpy has really great animation, especially the Carunkle episodes of season 2 like Sven Hoek, Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen, Man's Best Friend and Son of Stimpy.
I also like the zip poses used in Chuck Jones' early cartoons like Dover Boys and in some AOSTH and Johnny Bravo episodes.

Same with me there. After looking back I was amazed by the animation.

The Foster's pilot really caught my attention animation wise too, it was so beautiful for a blend of flash and other cg.

FLCL for it's wacky insane animation, same with ren and stimpy.

I know this is atypical, but some of the second season episodes of American Dragon were very fluid and alluring to the eye.Other eps, while having great storylines, not so much sometimes.

I've always been impressed by the first episode of Jackie Chan Adventures. The fight scenes between Jackie and the thugs is good; the fight scenes between Jackie using a shield like he was Captain America versus the Shadokan is great!

I also really like the free-fall animation in Spider-man TNAS. For example, when Spidey is chasing Talon it really looks amazing.

My most recent favorite is the animation for The Batman. In season one, there are several instances where they show The Batman on a ledge then pan around him, caping flowing in the wind, that just look awesome. Even better, in the movie, The Batman versus Dracula, the animation when The Batman is being chased through the shadows by the GCPD is very cool; the best of the animation has got to be the final battle with Dracula's army in the caverns.

In that case, it's the detail in the story for The Beverly Hills Teens, A Time To Remember; the color and details and shades were real fantastic compared to the show's other stories.

Disney's Tarzan really blew me away wth its visuals, especially Sabor. She really felt like she had separate layers of skin, muscle, and bone.

Well, I have always been impressed with the 2nd series opening sequence to Magic Knight Rayearth, I mean when I first saw it, I was immedaitely hooked onto the show. The main reason, why I like that sequence is there's this one shot of Hikaru quivering when she dropped a tear, I like that one bit mainly because it was very good detail.

And I also like the animation done on Zim, his facial expressions are really great and really funny.
