Despite the advances in mobile computing and the ever-increasing sophistication of PDAs, sometimes you just can't beat paper and smooth-flowing ink for true usefulness. We're wondering today about your own favorite old-school capture tools.
Many of you use a variety of tools for capturing ideas and loose information and—if reader comments are any indication—usually with a heavy mixture of electronic and analog methods. Today we want to hear about the analog side of the equation. What trick and tools do you employ to take notes on the go? Did you crave a swanky Levenger Pocket Briefcase only to find a just-as-functional $15 alternative? Have you found the smoothest writing pen that $5 can buy? Even if your solution isn't the thriftiest, we still want to hear about it! Sound off in the comments below and share your personal preferences for non-digital tools. Photo by mezone.
