A Alisabeth New member Jan 14, 2011 #1 Does anyone know why the flappers in the esophagus fail? I'm beginning to think mine was damaged when I had to have ear surgery..putting the tube down my throat. Never had a problem with acid reflux LPR till after that surgery?
