father-daughter relationship and a baby together?

have you heard about that father/daughter couple in Australia who had babies together? (1 died)

Well, it's proof that genetics really is a luck of the draw deal. They're very, very lucky their daughter didn't inherit the genes for certain recessive disorders, some have such tragic results.

In my culture however,(Cherokee Native American) incest was frowned upon so much that people who committed it were killed. Our definition of it went so far as to include large extended families--even fourth or fifth cousins.
 
Yes, I've read the news article.

Incest is against the law. The two people involved have risked a variety of birth defects or genetic issues that may appear later in the surviving child they have.
 
yes I have seen it. I couldn't watch it all the way through though. Too gross in my opinion. It's just not right.
