Fastest Selling Console Ever - in the UK

Nintendo beat the record set by Sony today.

The Wii sold 100,000 units over the weekend, making it the fastest-selling home console ever in the UK. In contrast, when the 360 was launched it sold 70,000 units over the weekend.

I walked into gamestation today and they had two Wiis Not even pre orders, if I had the money I could have walked out with one.

Not really sure, but I think the 360 is nowhere near as successful as it was over there.

I havent seen one advert, I only know of one mate getting one recently for GoW.


Thats my prediction, its usually the case over here. Most sales at launch = win.
