Hey, Currently my favorite authors/Fantasy set series are: (At somewhat of an adult level keep in mind):
Patrick Rothfuss: Anyone who hasn't read in the name of the wind should read it, its my favorite novel up to date, it just presents so much refreshing content not new of course, (new stuff is based on old stuff so it never becomes new stuff really...
) but its great
Weis/Hickman: Dragonlance Chronicles great books. Its got all your major fantasy stuff
R.A. Salvatore: Drizzt is the man (dark Elf), but I haven't really read any "new" Content from him in a while....
There has gotta be other good books/authors out there, Ive tried the Robert Jordan series, couldn't really get passed 3/4th book because there wasn't much new content within the ones I read, I honestly don't know if they get better, but I NEED A NEW BOOK/AUTHOR to get through, just because Ive read so many crappy writes, and authors who thought they could write and even published their materials, anyway,
PLEASE POST 'GOOD', well written content by some good authors in the fantasy based genre, not really sci-fi, but your magic, elves, dwarfs and dragons kinda stuff, that's well written.
