A guy in my league wants Beltre, and he is a Mariners fan, and I want to know what to counter if I don't like take his trade offers. I'm thinking that if I take the down grade of Beltre to Lowell, I could get an upgrade at P.
His pitchers are R. Halladay, F. Hernandez, J. Santana, J. Guthrie, M. Cain, R. Johnson, T. Hudson, J. Verlander, H. Okajima, B. Morrow, J.J. Putz, J. Papelbon
Mine are B. Webb, J. Shields, E. Santana, Z. Grienke, B. Penny, J. Litsch, M. Owings, M. Scherzer, S. Shields, F. Rodriguez, B. Fuentes, R. Soriano
We change our lineups daily and have 4 SP slots and 2 RP slots and 2 P slots. We have Saves and Holds as categories, which is why we have guys like Okajima, and Shields. I keep my 4 RP in the 2 RP slots and 2 P slots and then put Scherzer in 1 of the SP slots since I never have 4 guys going at 1 time. If I offered him Beltre for Lowell what type of pitching swap should I offer? Any help would be appreciated.
