Do the deal, while Braun will get to 35 hrs, once A-Rod comes off the DL he will at least get the same amount of hrs and more rbis because of the lineup, add to that the fact that Vazquez gets a lot of strike outs while laffey doesn't really get many strikeouts at all and you win the deal big time.
Ryan Braun will only be hot for some while then eventually he will be dropped, Alex will be good in the long run when he gets off the DL...or you can get A-Rod and get someone even better that you want from another team.
