Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)

Thanks for the review... but I'm in the I loved it category... I watched it with my 5 year old niece and she loved it... she's probably a little younger than the age group it was geared toward... but then, I'm probably a little older ... so, between she and I, we should be about right...

I saw The Fantastic Mr. Fox four cussin' times theatrically, and have watched it another six or seven times on DVD thus far. So, mildly disagree with you there, Sport. I rather think it's a masterpiece. To paraphrase Mr. Bean, "What are you babbling about, Ed? That's just weak logic and poor comprehension. You wrote a bad review, Ed."
 
It is always somewhat amusing to me how many bloggers come on here and try to write reviews and also try to get us to go to their stupid blog.

Whatever, anyway... I also basically disagree with the bulk of this "review" and am wondering if the OP even knows that this was adapted (very well, I might add) from a great book.

I remember back when I read this story I thought I could almost taste the cider and smell the smoked meats. What a magical story and the movie not only captured the magic but made it memorable. I will always like this flick A LOT and I'll go to my grave saying this flick is twice the flick that Up was.
 
I loved this film... It's nice to see an animated movie which begs to differ in both humour & style.
 
Listen up, yall. The internets are a cruel place, because anonymity makes malice easy to dish out. This post is just a taste of that cruelty. I feel a little evil saying this, but my criticism of the OP is not entirely unconstructive.
