I saw Fantastic 4 Yesterday,I really liked it.The People who acted in the movie have a contract to make two more Fantastic 4 movies.Well Did any of you all enjoy it.I thought it was funny. :) Well Bye

Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis and Jessica Alba talked about sequels at the UK premiere to Empire and said this about the sequels:

Ioan Gruffudd said "We've signed for two and three already, and it looks more than likely that we'll be shooting them even as early as next year."

Michael Chiklis said "The good thing is it won't be an origin picture," said Chiklis, "So we can go right into storytelling, and depending on which villain we decide to go with, and which way we decide to go, we can get right into the crux of the story immediately."

Jessica Alba said "Tim put secrets in this movie that he's going to reveal in the next one, and I think we have to get the Fantasticar – that'd be cool… and I think we need some kiRAB, at least by the third one, so Reed and Sue should get busy"

So it looks like we will be seeing more of The Fantastic Four in the cinema for the next few years!

Saw it today........

Apart from Michael Chiklis, this film made my teeth hurt.
Could have been so good, but i just didnt like it.....real shame, as i sooooo wanted to enjoy it.

I watched it yesterday.

Was quite good actually, however I wouldnt go as far as FANTASTIC lol. I'd probably say Very Good as a rating lol.

However, as is the same with all opening movies to a Superhero Franchise, most of the film is basically showing how it all began ect. One good thing with this one though is that the story of the villian intertwined with the backstory so it worked quite well.

However I feel Van Doom deserved his own story unrelated to the Begining of The Fantastic 4 and it was a mistake killing him off before he had been fully established as a baddie.

So what? Who gives a toss about reviews? Personally, I never read them because I'm grown up enough to have my own opinion and I don't need anybody else to tell me what to think.

I saw the film tonight and it's a pretty standard cartoon hero film, really. Nothing too taxing on the brain, some pretty neat effects and a paper thin story.

An enjoyable way to spend an evening but I wouldn't rush out to buy the DVD.

That's my opinion FWIW and I managed to come up with that all on my own! :)

How can you have seen FF4 yet as it isnt out in the UK untill 22nd July?
It looks like there will definatly be a sequel as Avi Arad has been quoted as saying "Of Course there will be a sequel", he says. "Now the constituency is much larger". As said already all the cast are signed for the sequel and the rumoured villian is going to be The Puppet Master!

I have to say I should have ignored the reviews as I quite enjoyed it as mindless fun that it is. However I do agree that it isnt fantastic but hopefully the sequel will improve on the original!
Fantastic Door I dont think they actually killed Dr Doom off completely as the bit at the end of him being shipped off to Latavia shows that he will defianlty return!

The casting for Sue Storm was dubious (although Alba in lyrca always sells a movie to me). The messing with comic canon was needless. The special effects were ropey. But DAMN that movie was a hell of a lot of fun. It was presented as equal parts comicbook kitsch (and you can't do FF any other way) and dysfunctional family sitcom. And it worked wonderfully on both counts. Pure, uncomplicated, laugh out loud, feel-good fun.

Yeah my mate lent my a copy of the Roger Corman version of FF4 and it is truely dreadful. I was just amazed I sat through the whole film as I think I was just numb with shock at how bad it was!
