...distance away.? Mother(x-girl friend) of my son wants to move child 5 hour driving distance away(Sacramento) to pursue relationship. We have a court order and I have visitation rights. I see my son every other weekend. Recently, my son got caught with pot at school and was suspended. He has poor attendance, very poor grades, and does not have any remorse. He was never like this. But hid the bad behavior and actions from us for the past 6 monts. I warned the mother to be more strict and set some rules but she did not listen. Then we learned that he had been doing pot. Mother admits it was her fault for not keeping a close eye under her care. They currently live 50 miles away. So not real close to my house. However, I am very close to my son, he loves me and his grandparents on my side. The mother has no family. I do not want her to move because of his unstable situation. He needs his father and the rest of this family for love. What do I need to do to stop her from moving. I want him to stay in southern california, and not move. He does not really want to move either, but he feels guilty if he is the reason for his moms relationship to end. He is unstable, a change of school, city, home and whatever else is not good for him
