...lawyer to the US. Help!? My husband has been in the US as an immigrant/green card holder for more than two years now. We, his legal family (four kids and wife) are left in the Philippines and was hoping to follow him soon. Unfortunately, he found someone else there and had a son out of wedlock. Now, he has to juggle his money with two families.

Over the phone, he is very disrespectful. he does not even read our emails anymore. He definitely sends money. He sends us $50 or sometimes $100...on lucky months he sends $300 or $400 a month. But his remittances are not regular and the amount fluctuates that it makes it difficult for me to make ends meet.

Recently, it is becoming more and more difficult for me to get money from him. I have decided to file for child support. But filing for child support is not easy. I cannot afford a lawyer to represent me in the US. I still have to file a court order in the Philippines and also will still have to seek the assistance of a local lawyer...it is so complicated and expensive.

But I have to do this. I have to uphold my children's rights. Help and advice please!
NO! He is not married to the mother of the child. And they are hiding it very well.
My in-laws, who he lives with in the states, does not even suspect because he keeps a regular schedule.

If you can find out that he is married to the mother of his child in the US and he is still married to you, he is commiting bigamy which is illegal in the US. If you can prove that he will go to jail then get deported back to his country.
