Family Guy - "The Hand that Rocks the Wheelchair" - Talkback [3/6]

Yes, but most of the time those characters are funny, instead of making her actions genuinely funny,it just came off as selfish and creepy. The writers seem bent on making her a psychopath with no redeeming qualities.

I liked this episode.

Not for nothing, but this is the second time they've had Meg as a crazy stalker, not the third or fourth; just throwing that out there. They're really being consistent with Meg's past behavior. Aside from her past attraction to Brian (which they brought up here), Meg has shown signs of being pretty messed up, even in the first seasons before the running gag of messing with her started. I laughed when Peter stole her cutaway, is that the first time they've ever addressed one of them as a cutaway specifically?

As for that clone gag, the last episode doesn't count because it was just playing off Chris' occasional stupidity and was a parody, while this was a straight example; so I see nothing wrong with it.

Still the best season so far. :)

Great episode :anime:
My favorite parts are Peter stealing Meg's cutaway,Peter making Prank calling Joe,Patrick Stewart as the baby, the ending with the Thriller reference XD

Kool-Aid Man :crying:

A pretty good episode. Liked it better than the Brian stalker episode, especially the Patrick Stewart cameo and Joe having better control of himself with the situation, enough to laugh it off anyway. The Evil Stewie storyline was surprisingly good as well. He was quite brutal with his victims, and i saw the ending coming a mile away, but still laughed.

Best part was Peter stealing Meg's cutaway. Completely out of nowhere and I love how nonchalant he was about it.

Awesome/hilarious/evil episode,

The highlights:
Glen's silly wackiness and funny exit like Barry's from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, hahahaha.
Poor Stewie to have bullies.
Brian mentioning about Stewie going soft after his early psychopathic evilness was great, I knew they're gonna mention it.
Peter stealing Meg's cutaway, hahahahaha.
Brian chasing helicopters.
WOOOOW, I love Evil Stewie who's Stewie's evil early side reborn and the most awesome evil clone ever:eek::D:D.I love it when the new villains in season 9 become more dangerous/stronger than ever, go Seth and crew!!!!
Joe mentioning the hot Lady Gaga.
Patrick Stewart voicing Susie the baby, hehehe.
Poor Brian/Stewie getting brutally beatened up by Evil Stewie was sick/funny:ack::eek::p.
Evil Stewie is brutal/hardcore and the King of Psychopaths when he killed the lady, wooooow!!!!!
Meg being a crazy stalker/psychopathic witch again was funny, poor Joe, which is nice for the writers to do something with her character than make her boring and a punching bag.
Peter prank calling Joe, hahahahaha, just like Bart prank calling Mo.
The Kool-Aid Man being killed by Evil Stewie, hahahahaha.
Joe mentioning the Brian/Meg plot, niice.
Meg getting runned over to be handicapped like Joe was funny, hahahahaha.
Herbert running from Joe, hahahahaha.
The Stewie vs. Evil Stewie fight was awesome!!!!!
Poor Brian tired of the whole shooting the evil clone cliche, hahahahaha:p:D.
Uh-oh, it's Evil Stewie, and loved the Thriller reference, what a great evil ending.
Sucks that Stewie's annoying bully didn't got brutally killed by Evil Stewie, oh well.

Speaking of evil twins, I miss Thaddeus(Peter's funny evil twin brother), which I hope in future episodes, he'll make an epic return.

I'm thinking it may be because of all the abuse Meg gets at home, she seems to want to fawn after any guy who's nice to her. Still pretty creepy though.

Yeah. It was interesting to see that done right unlike in the past episode where the two guys looked nothing alike. But keep in mind that this episode was supposed to air about a month ago before "German Guy," so the gag in that one might have been referencing this episode. Just a thought on that.

Aaaaaaaand I'm gonna question this season now. So is it true that Meg gets run over by somethign? Did she really deserve it or something? Was she really that evil here? I'd rather have her get away with anything because she's that awesome

I swear, I'm not too sure after just two episodes, just like that, the season has suddenly gone downhill, and I haven't even gotten to seeing the past two episodes, but from what I'm seeing, they sound pretty...god-awful.

Well, thing is, supposedly, there is gonna be another episode of Meg trying to get revenge on the family thsi season, supposedly. I don't know if that's true or not, but I fear the writers were trying to get me to watch the show again then try to make my life frustratingly difficult just for watching the show again.

(sigh)

You're saying the season has gone downhill based on two episodes you haven't even seen? Go on Hulu, watch both episodes and then get back to us.

And Meg doesn't simply get run over. She throws herself in front of Joes car in order to become handicapped like him.

If you really think a simple TV show is making your like difficult you should probably just stop watching it.

Did the scene with Joe driving Meg to school seem unfinished to anyone else? It was so freaking quiet, as if it was one of those extra scenes you can watch on the DVDs where the sound effects aren't quite right and the sound hasn't been mixed properly.

Oh. That actually sounds pretty humerous.

Sorry if I overreacted, I'm probably thinking it over too much. It's just that FG has been on a role, really, and I was hoping they wouldn't bring their horrible writing again from the the 7th season. I do notice the episode was written by someone I've never heard of, though.

Great episode! Best jokes MO were Quagmire in the beginning (Roadrunner style!), Peter's "Heh, heh, I stole Meg's cutaway", Peter prank calling Joe, the voice-overs for Susie and Evil Stewie killing Kool-Aid man. Also, the Stewie fight was awesome, and so were Evil Stewie's dramatic poses.

And 2 things: A) I'm for Uruguay, we don't have Kool-Aid, what's worng with Evil Steiwie killing it? B) Did anyone notince that proper Peter appeared 15 minutes in and only prank called Joe? Good change to have Peter as a minor character.

This was a pretty good episode. I loved how Brian acknowledged how Stewie's lost his evil touch. Evil Stewie was just brutal in his actions. I also loved Patrick Stewart's voice over for Susie Swanson. The ending really scared the heck out of me. I wonder if it means we will be seeing Stewie do more evil things again. :)

Very strange episode, but I really did like how it made fun of itself. Both with the cutaway gag that Peter "stole" and Brian speaking the sentiment of the audience that the new Stewie is no fun.

And evil Stewie survived? Well, I have to say that evil Stewie was a bit too evil for my liking, but oh well.

My favorite parts of this episode were Evil Stewie saying Oh no! over and over causing Kool-Aid man to come and yell Oh yeah! and then get brutally killed by Evil Stewie. I also liked the part when Brian had to choose the right Stewie.

I was really surprised that Meg would throw herself out in front of Joe's squad car to make herself the same as Joe.

All in all a fairly good episode.

The next episode airs Sunday 3/20.
The episode is called Trading Places. Meg and Chris trade places with Lois and Peter.

I thought this was a pretty entertaining episode. Though, the subplot for this episode worked more for me than the main plot. My favorite jokes was the Kool-Aid man getting killed, and Patrick Stewart being the voice of Suzie's thoughts.

I thought the main plot was kind of creepy with how Meg was building an obsession with Joe. Seems that if you give her a small bit of kindness, and she'll become more clingier than socks that just came out of the dryer.

Probably. Remember Stewie with the gun behind Lois' back in the Joyce Kinney episode. Plus, again this episode was out of order, so that could have happened before this episode. It does look like Stewie's evil side is making a comeback.
