fake n73 music edition?

hey guys
how wud i know if this claimed n73 ME is genuine or not??
i mean the guy could put on the black face plate etc change some software????

im interested in this fone however i want to know if its possible to verify a genuine unit

well its hard to identify a unit if he somehow got OEM parts and flashed the software.

ask for the box - hard to fake that and all of the manuals.

ask for pictures of the gallery and camera button - they are black on the ME and silver on the other versions. (don't think these are sold on cnn.cn with the housings so this is probably the best way to tell)

look black music button on the keypad with a white musical note on it (above C key)... not a black multimedia button.

ask for a picture of the bottom of the housing by the pop port. there should be an area with a lot of holes but it should be silver and not black.

check to see if a screen protector will stick to the screen (the bootleg faceplates will not allow a screen protector to stick to it)

I got the housing from cnn.cn, and:

1. gallery and camera button are black
2. music note on the key
3. silver speaker screens on top and bottom
 
I just swapped the housing on my regular white/mocha N73 for the ME housing, it looks legit to me. I'm leaving the vanilla firmware cause I don't like the music player being open all the time, but other than that, holy piss this phone is sexy in black.
 
isn't the ME hardware the same as the original N73 hardware? just and upgrade in the firmware with the new music player and themes? if the phone is brand new, then i think it'd be ok one way or another.
