I'm just curious....I know a lot of people out there have been swindled out of countless amounts of money for these fake MAC eyeshadows and pigments on e-bay...

I read a comment from someone on another site that said that considering she didn't pay much for them, she opted to use the pigments she recieved for a few months and they weren't half bad...has anyone ever tried using their fake eyeshadows or pigments?

Well the thing with MAC's eyeshadows and pigment powders is that their main selling power is the fact that they are highly pigmented, so very intense in colour & long lasting.

I've never personally used the fake ones, but from what I've read on forums online, the fakes are much less vibrant in colour - so they are obviously way less pigmented - and they won't last as long. Some of the shades area little off as well, as whoever copies them obviosuly doesn't know the exact ingredients that MAC uses, so can't get a 100% match. Some are very good copies though, which is whyy so many people get caught out.
