I just assumed they would be fakes, I have noticed alot of people geting around on Ducatis in Jakarta though. They were advertised to me as 2008 1098R

Hey Mak, since you have the connection, try to find out the number of either of these bikes. I'm pretty sure the R and the sedici should have a plaque on the triple clamp with a number, like xxx of 1500.

that doesn't look like the ducati dealer in Jakarta either (I was there in March last year). There is also some huge import tax on imported bikes in Indonesia (200% or something) so to get one for $USD5K (for an order of four!) is certainly fishy.

Those pics were on a ebay auction for a Desmo a while back. And NOT for 5K. I wonder how many people would be left in the world if all that suck were eliminated
