Factory Warranty on Used (Pre-Owned) Cars?

I bought a 2007 Saturn Sky in Feburary 2009. The used car dealership I bought it from told me that the Factory Warranty would carry over to me until it expired. Now the handle on my passenger door has broken...how do I get it fixed under the warranty? Do I need some kind of paper work that says I have the factory warranty?
