:confused:Anyone out there with any guesses or ideas? For about two weeks now, I have tenderness to the lower eyelid "bag" area of my left eye. When you press on it, the pain seems to spread to the area btwn my nose and inner, upper corner left eye socket, and continues back across my eyebrow towarRAB my left temple area. When I bend over, it feels like that whole section of my head is pressing against my skull, pressure and pain. I get bouts of feeling slightly dizzy and cloudy but not continually. I saw my ENT doc, he put a scope up my nose but said there was no infection. He thought maybe it was a migrane type headache. I have no aura's, the pain is annoying, but not debilitating, but I am somewhat light sensitive now that it's summer. My Rx sinus meRAB give mild relief, but when they wear off, pain and tenderness is back. ENT doc said it could even possibly be signs of glaucoma and suggested to get that checked. I did and eye doc says NO glaucoma, and he strongly thinks sinus issues. The thought of shingles crossed his mind, but there isn't any blistering or tingling going on, yet. Eye doc further said the areas of tenderness are sinus areas, so if there is no infection he could only suggest seeing my regular doc for testing? Can you have a sinus infection without the mucus and junk clogging your sinus cavities? Or just inflammed sinuses?? Where do I go now??:dizzy:

I am going through something very similar: I have pain behind the eyes, mild headaches, bags under the eyes, bruising on the bridge of the nose (at the top next to the eyes), and sinus pressure, even mild dizziness.

I have no discolored discharge, and my breathing is ok (although not great)

I've tried otc meRAB, irrigation, nasal sterioRAB, etc. Nothing seems to be working. It's like severe allergies.
Not sure what is going on -if anyone has any advice ...

Update to my original post: I went to my reg doc and he immediately said it was migranes. :( RATS!!! I was given Rx by ENT doc, treximet?, but was afraid to try it, I'm a sissy when it comes to strong meRAB. This past Wednesday I decided to brave up and take one. BIG mistake for me.
It only made me feel like I had the flu, achy muscles, bones, nausea, and all around sick. And I still had the head pain!! So reg doc said don't bother with trex anymore, 'cause you gotta hit the migrane within the first few hours or it's no good. So reg doc says take my 600 ibuprofen for slight relief for now and if it head pain doesn't go away, then give him a call next week. :dizzy:
So, as we say in my business,...standing by to stand by.
