Facer Launcher 2.0. Opinons?

I've just been looking at the Facer Launcher 2.0. Has anyone got any opinions on it? Is it worth it? I've looked at both Silver Screen, and Launcher X and didn't really get on with them. In particular how does it work with Agendus Pro (probably the same as Std, I'd have thought). One of the major selling points it would appear is the today page, but that's really pretty good in Agendus. It is also offering a free copy of EZ Money as well, is it any good (compared to Splash Money?). The current version has a built in weather conduit, but I can't quite see how it works from the web site, and t doesn't appear to work via the hotsync if I read the page correctly. One thing that did catch my eye on the FAQ page was that it will only be offering a certain number of free upgrades........Normally I'd download the trial but with my T3 away, and as it doesn't seem that you can e-mail questions to them (does anyone else get worked up with the the FAQ pages which pose as support, with no e-mail address?), I need help from you lot.

I registered Facer v1.9.2 and I've just upgraded to v2.0.4. I quite like it because I think the today page is worth having, as I know I'm capable of going days without looking at my diary, and it is a generally slick and useful app.

After I registered Facer I discovered Today which is free and also provides a good today page, and it will launch five or so applications. I sometimes feel that I need to consult a solicitor just to launch a program because I have so many ways (Facer, zLauncher, McPhling, Qlaunch, Hi-Launcher, etc). Yes, I know it a mess and needs weeding. I don't think I need to fill all my screen with icons just to launch an app, and I think that Hi-Launcher is the best launcher. It works a bit like the Windows Start button.

Being a Datbk5 user I don't know about Agendus, but for me Today + Hi-Launcher is a pretty unbeatable combination.

Note that Facer don't give particularly good customer support, and don't notify you when there's an upgrade, and it was a saga for me to discover that the latest update was a free upgrade for me, despite a statement on the Palmgear site saying that it isn't.

I think Today supports 320 x 320 screens. That's what it says on the PalmGear site, for what it's worth.

I recently created a todo dated a long way in the future (April 2005), and I see that it is now appearing in Facer Pro's today page, whereas it doesn't yet appear in Today's page, which shows 'active' and overdue todos. Obviously I don't want to be confronted with this todo for the next eleven months, so really Today is doing more what I want. Can anyone confirm this difference, or is there a setting somewhere to fix this?

Anyway, for the moment I'm settling on Today.

pdalive.com recently concluded a test of around 15 launchers. The reviews were well-written, and included most of the launchers previous posters mentioned and a slew more. Must reading if you are looking at this kind of software.
