FaceBook Spam Warning!: When does the red boxes go away?

I told some Facebook groups I'm in about my new videos, linking back to my site. That was considered spam, apparently, but I wasn't notified, I just get that red warning box when I go into a discussion board. Then, when I wanted to send a message to one of my friends about it, this other red box said, "You are going to spam this person!" or something to that effect.

When does the red box go away?
Do they disable your account? (They said it COULD be disabled)
What's The Limit to messages or links you post? Or do I have the scarlet letter?
