If you start a chat with one of your Facebook "friends" who appear to be online and on Facebook, then the full moon (for lack of a better term) turns to a crescent moon (again - ?), will they see that you tried to start a chat when they return to Facebook? Or does the chat history (in this case only my comments) disappear?
Does the crescent moon (I don't know how else to describe it) denote that the person is online and signed into Facebook but is inactive?
...and yes, I'm optimistic that this person did not see that I tried to start a chat rather than putting me on "ignore mode"...haha!
