Facebook chat question?

When I log in sumtimes, for intstance tonight it comes up that there are 9 folk online for chat then i click on it and there are only 5 does that mean the others are blocking me!! :| lol or is there another explanation
 
Well that happens to me too. For me I think it is because maybe the list of people online is not always updated. I have also had times where there were more people really online than I saw on the list. So it is probably just not updated that much.
