Facebook chat doesnt work on touch.?

When i try and talk to my cousin and a few other people on my ipod it closes facebook and goes to the home screen. Can someone help me please, because it is the only way to communicate to my cousins in greece.

FB chat is usually fucked up anyway. Just send them an email on FB. That's more convenient. Especially since you're using a Touch.
 
Maybe it's coz the programme the chat uses isn't available on the touch. Gosh that was dodgy..
eg: can't listen to streaming music on myspace coz of the adobe player.
how bout download an app that allows you to go on facebook chat.
