Face Rash

I tried a new acne cream, it caused my face to start to rash. Half my face has little bumps that match my skin tone, but the other side is more red.

What kind of rash do I have, and how do I treat it?

Any advice is better than none at all.

The new acne cream no doubt caused inflammation, perhaps was too strong for your skin type.

Have you tried an oil free lotion for dry skin. I like the Neutregena oil free face lotion. Does not clog pores, etc.

I would use only a ph balanced mild face cleaner such as Neutregena liquid, rinse well, gently pat dry with clean towel, apply dry skin lotion, let face rest from other things.
