ive been wondering if it is possible to flash the samsung f488 to a f480, because im having really bad reception even outside the house, so i think it is a firmwares problem. Help appreciated

AFAIK it was possible, not 100% shure though, read the wole thread about flashing f480 should be in there, yet I'm sure flashing will not by any means help your reception

It's possible. I'm using an F480(F480DXHI2) and have flashed to F488(F488ZHHJ1). then from F488 i have flashed back to F480 (F480XEHL2).
I agree with Mistank, because when i was using the F488 the reception was the same.
