F480 Lag issues

I'm kinda getting bored of looking on youtube seeing people around the world with their f480 that handles so well and is extremely smooth.

Why is my f480 so laggy??

I've changed the firmware around a bit and very minimal improvement

even when i first got the phone and hadn't flashed it or anything it seemed so pathetic as though it was still a beta version.

Does anyone have any solutions perhaps the smoothest known firmware or something
 
When you flashed your phone did you pick MID or Low?

Low makes it faster as it does not have to debug as much (which slows down the phone)
No problem, if you set it to MID because you can change it back to Low through the Admin menus
 
Always ive used Low. i just need to ask does anyone else have this problem when they click menu does it turn real slow
 
This may sound a bit weird, but if you have the widget menu open (the sidebar thing)
this slows it down by a small fraction.

Plus if there are lots of widgets being used too.
I've noticed this. Using F48FXEIA1 Btw (January 2009)
May depend on firmware version too.
 
i am using the latest February firmware which has run the smoothest for me out of all i do have alot of widgets in the bar but i cant remove the ones i dont move eg bluetooth memo but thankyou for ur help anyway
