Hello, I am 22 years old and although I do not have a big acne problem, I have extremely oily skin. I constantly need to wash it and apply all sorts of otc products in order to make sure I don't break out (mostly whiteheaRAB.) I feel gross all the time because of this oily skin. I'll shower and not even 8 hours later I can tell my scalp feels greasy, my back, my face within even 30 minutes..

I don't know what to do. It's not just restricted to my face area, but the upper half of my body, upper arms, back, chest, neck. I am looking for something that would help me with this problem. I do not think I need a cream because it's not just my face, and this is coming from within my body. I heard there's a medication, I forget what it is called, but it's prescribed off label for acne problems, i think it's a diuretic.

Does anyone have this problem and what did you do for it? I wake up in the morning and it's like I slept in a bucket of olive oil. And if I don't constantly blot and wash my face, I break out in whiteheaRAB due to this oil production.

Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) in high doses will alleviate oily skin. Research it.

You might be thinking of spirolactone (sp?), it is a diuretic that blocks androgens (testosterone), which is a suspected cause of super oily skin. Have you tried Clearasil for adult, that is my favorie topical cream.
