I have just seen an advert for this and I am not sure it is going to be a comedy gem but the fact that it is written by Mike Judge and Stars JK Simmons makes me want to see it. Is anyone else intending to go see this? I have read a review on IMDB that is somewhat scathing of it.

There exists a scathing imdb review for every movie ever made and a glowing imdb review for every movie ever made. One review is not a useful sample size.

Extract got a 64% aggregate review on Rotten Tomatoes. Not amazing, but not bad. I saw this back when it came out here, and that matches how I feel about it. OK, not great. It's worth seeing if there isn't anything better playing.
 
I've seen this and thought it was okay but I watch all kinRAB of stuff tbh.

It's another one of those off beat quirky type of comedies that you either enjoy or think is unfunny.

The humour is subtle I guess in the same vain as Office Space.

Don't know much about J.K Simmons but I think he was the guy that played Jason Bateman's business partner. If he was, he doesn't have a huge part in the movie.

As for Mike Judge I guess if you liked Office Space you won't mind this.
 
Saw this today and loved it! Completely ridiculous but very funny. So many amusing situations and funny lines. If quirky comedies are your thing this is for you.

Ben Affleck stole the show! Mila Kunis and Kristin Wiig - gorgeous!
