I have been given a new battery for my Kyocera phone. If I charge the battery in the phone then store it on my shelf till I need it, will it stay charged, or do they slowly drain while sitting around outside the phone?
it will probably slowly loose it's charge. depending on how old the battery is and it's condition it could take anywhere from a couple days to a couple months to fully loose the charge. i used to do this with a couple of motorola's i had that all used the same battery. i had three batteries for two phones and would usually carry a spare one on me and just swap it in if one of my phones died.
