Hi all, So I have a PS3 hooked up to an HDTV thru the HDMI connection. Picture and sound both are fine, but my TV speakers are small, so I bought a set of Creative Inspire 2.1 PC speakers that I was gonna use to play sound from.
The speakers work fine (I tested them on my PC first). However, I wanted now to hook up the speakers to my TV so that the sound would come out from the external speakers. What is the best way to set it up? I was trying to connect the external speakers to the headphone jack on the TV, but the sound still came out thru my TV speakers.
My speakers don't have a digital in or out or anything like that.. they are just standard PC speakers with a subwoofer. Do I need to use the RCA cables that came with the PS3? Any help is apprecciated. Thanks
