External flash for my camera that's not a typical brand name?

I would like to get an external flash like the SpeedliteEx II that's not so expensive. I bought this but it lacked a lot for me: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001Q9A69O/ref=wms_ohs_product so I would like to get a new one.

I have a canon rebel xsi. I don't want to go over $150-200.
