Exterior door swing issue?

We all know that the doors on the typical residential house swing inward. Commercial buildings swing outward so that if there were an emergency, everyone could charge the doors and escape since a mass of people will just spill to the outside.

In snowy environments, I can see a problem if a drift forms but in the 90 years of my house standing (link to photo below) its not likely to have happened. There is a huge porch which covers the area.

Now then, would you find it unusual to pull a door to enter a house and push to leave? Houses with storm doors already do this since the storm door has to swing outward anyway!!
I should menton that I won't be installing a storm door as a good quality door does not need such a nuisance!
