Extended warrantee paid 4 itslef in two months

Some people adviced me not to get the extended warrantee on my 08 UC. But I am smarter
than they are. You see, my bike has been to the dealer many times since I bought it so why would it be different two years latter? So I bought the extended warranty for additional 3 years. As soon as it kicked in I had to replace the voltage regulator and needed a new starter. That would have cost me in parts and labor close to the $1200 I paid for the extended warrantee.

Always ask for advice but at the end of the day use your own head.

Good for you, glad your decision payed off.

I will tell you though, you might want to consider your decision to ride a bike if you're luck is generally this bad.

The actuaries have figured out how to make money on warranties, so the odds are always in favor of the house.

Kingcripps, 4 years riding and not even a close call. Dumb comment on your part. BYW, wings run well up to 200K miles. Harleys have issues since day no 1 because we put up with it and live in denial.

Glad it's working out for you. Sorry you have had so many problems.
I had 1 claim on my '08 for the wind deflectors, and I did the labor myself. Nothing since. The my bike has been to the dealer for the free 1000 mile service and when I go to pick up oil.
So far I would have been out $1200. If I replaced a starter and regulator I'd still be down almost $1000.

I have seen plenty of Harley's with 200k on them and running fine. Just ran onto a friend at Sturgis with 100k on his 09. SO I think you need to do more research....
