Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows when and if Bell will be updating their programming brochure and changing their pricing? I find they usually do it at least once a year. I find that their packages (when compared to Starchoice) are more expensive. I don't understand why Bell doesn't offer a digital favourites package (similar to America's top 100 or 200 with some of the more popular channels.) Also, Bell needs to offer better channels in their digital standard package (channels like TSN, etc.) like Starchoice does. I prefer Starchoice's packaging but find they are too slow in adding new services whereas Bell seems to offer new channels fast like Rogers does. I also like Bell's interactive services.

On another note, I noticed Bell now charges a $3/month digital access fee. Before this, they had an advantage in my eyes against Starchoice because Starchoice charges a multi-receiver fee of $4.99/month but now with bell adding an extra $3, there isn't a huge difference!

I forgot to ask, does Expressvu offer Peachtree tv in a theme pack without having to purchasing the movie network? With Cogeco and starchice, you can get peachtree t.v in the basic bundle.

To get peach tree TV without the movies you need to ask for the super station package. You get the superstations for $5.99 or something like that.

It's impossible to compare the packages one for one. Pick the channels you absolutely must have (include HD and SD if that's a concern), then price out the packages on each that include them. Then see what the price difference is.

When the had the package called Legacy there was CandaDigital advantage that gave a few of the most popular channels on each theme. EV dropped that option when they created the Genesis programming brochure. It is very unlikely according to me that they would go back...

Peachtree is part of what they call Superstations...
Superstations can not be offered individually, unless a a retention tool. This issue has been discussed in many threads previously. If you succed in adding the Superstations whithout the movies they will cost you 5$/month

its too bad that they do not have other options for the programming. b'cause so far is very poor. i used to like it when we could pick up seven theme packs for lets say 40.00 or seven themes packs+premium movies, or 9, and 12 theme packs as options. but now, there's not much.

As I mentionned in many other threads regarding that issue the message was not widely spread that Superstations can not be added individually.

Agents also have bonuses based on their RPC (Revenu per call) so lots of them would bend the rule to get theirs bonus

ARe you saying you got Superstations added at no additional charge? I'd like to try them instead of Movie Central which absolutely sucks.

I don't see knowhere that was said added free of charge...

Superstations are 5$/month
Those channls are included as part of your Movie Central suscription right now

it's very sad with this 3$ augmentation, last week it did check my exvu bill without tax it's 82.50, i don't even have tmn and hd with my direct tv sub, i pay 99$ a month but i have acces to everything except the ppv.

i can't wait to see when bell will do the same at a reasonable price.

Why not cancel your directTV subscription, and then Bells price won't seem so unreasonable. I don't know many people who pay for 2 providers for their tv services. Well, I know a few, but they have more money than they know what to do with, and money is no object...
I would like to see cheaper pricing for my channels
Who wouldn't?
