ExpressVu to remove "Plan糥" and "EuroNews" channels?

Well, let's not forget that ExpressVu is national and Shaw, Rogers, Videotron, etc are local providers. So, yes, ExpressVu has more digital TV customers than, say, Rogers; but not more than cable companies and certainly not nearly a fraction of the digital customers Rogers has in Rogers territory. The same applies to Shaw, Videotron, Cogeco, etc.

For Internet, Bell Sympatico mainly competes in Eastern Canada and particularly against Rogers, Videotron and Cogeco as far as cable Internet goes.

Not to knock Bell's performance, but their "leadership" in terms of subscriber counts is based on having national, or at least regional, territories which vastly exceed the companies you are comparing Bell against. If you compare territory for territory -- and Internet is a good case where both Bell and cable started at about the same time and had no regulatory advantages over each other -- cable won the war.
