Exporting ASP.NET GridView to PDF (Stuggling!)?

I have been reading up all day on how to do this, but every site I find has a string of comments about how no one has been able to get it to work,

I have a page that has sorting and paging (I suppose I could turn sorting off if it matters) and need to have a button that says Export To PDF but don't know how to do this,

Getting very worried I have been investing far too much time in this and am unsure how to do it,
