After reading the book Abyssinia, written by Australian aithor Ursula Dubosarsky, I felt a little disappointed. I was really waiting for a final chapter that would resolve exactly what was the meaning of the book - and I didn't get it.
I hate to plead ignorance, but could somebody out there who's read it - and understood it - please explain to me the relevance of the Dr Fleet, and why Sarah was suddenly older and a governess, and why she found herself in the attic covered in a blanket, and when she looked into her own eyes the world disappeared?
I loved the book but really kind of missed the point I think, and now that I've had to return it I don't have the opportunity to read it again.
