Explain where the first civilizations started?

Please Explain where the first Civilizations like Mesopotamia , China and etc.. first started and what they did to get to where they are now
 
The oldest civilizations are found in the Middle East; extremely old cities such as Jericho and Damascus come from practically immediately after the end of the last Ice Age.

Extremely old civilizations practically invariably arise around rivers, with lots of fertile land nearby. In Sumer's case, it was the Tigris and the Euphrates; in Egypt, it was the Nile, of course, and in India, the Indus valley civilization.
