Much of the conquering was done by the conquerers being " Inferior " Not only by their presence, weapons and Violence, but by their uncurable diseases.
Much is said about the epidemics that wiped out the civilazation
 
Diseases carried by the Spaniards were already wiping out entire civilizations of American Indians before they had even set foot off the first boat. The Natives had no immunities to the diseases carried by the Spaniards and mostly all died. Spanish explorers often reported that they would find entire villages of dead natives.
 
...was conquered by.....? Explain the circumstances, and why the sophisticated and powerful Aztec empire was conquered by a “handful” of Spanish conquistadors under Cortes?
