Experience with Pebeo Setacolor fabric paint?

I used the Pebeo Transparent paint on cotton fabric and now need to "fix" the paint. The instructions say to iron on the cotton setting but doesn't say if I need to steam or not (I can't use the oven technique).

Do you have any experience or expertise in this? (I don't want to mess it up.)
