As a dealer my experience with Nokia has been mostly positive. They have lost market share due to lack of flip-phones. Most people buy on emotion and don't really care about the foundation or support of a company. Just my 2 cents.
I have always found Nokia phones to have good reception. I have a 3220 with T-Mobile and a 6235i with metroPCS, which both always have good reception where I live and work.
