I just upgraded from a Vx to a T3 and notice the bottom half of the sliding screen is fairly loose - is this normal? How tight should it be? I realize this is probably subjective, but mine is loose enough to annoy me. Anyone else have this issue?
It should not be "loose". There should be a bit of resistance to moving up and down on the slider. It should not have any real movement or noise at the bottom. It should make an audible click when it reaches the bottom of the slide.
If this is a "new" unit then I'd suggest you check it against an in store display unit for comparison purposes because my T3 is now over a year old and I wouldn't ever call the slider "loose" so I think you might have a problem unit.
One reason I don't like the slider on the T3 is that when it is slid open, there is only a catch on one side that latches the slide open. The left side sort of hangs and makes the slider look crooked.
