Just recently i heard a C5 Corvette's loud exhaust system; sounded absolutely incredible. In low revs, the sound was very bass like and echoed off of everything. it could be heard from pretty far away, but when the driver got on it you heard the engine scream and that bass sound turned into loud treble.
I know that setup could really be anything, but I really want that sound. Where its more bass in the low revs, and more treble in the high revs; very loud all around. I have a 2002 Trans Am WS6 (same LS1 motor as in the corvettes; V8) with stock everything with the exception of a Borla cat back (Passanger side restrictor plate wide open). Would long tube headers get me that kind of sound? If no, what else can I do? (besides simply straight piping it)
Any real input is appreciated. Thanks!
