exhaust on 1991 toyota corolla?

what would the 1.6L 4A-FE motor in a 1991 toyota corolla 4-door sound like if i removed the rear muffler/ (resonator?)?? i'm not sure if that's actually the muffler or not, because i have looked underneath the car and there's the catyletic convertor, then what looks like a straight-through muffler, and then the one at the rear with the exhaust tip...

any ideas what it would sound like? and what about adding in a ricer muffler from Borla or HKS?
 
I did have a 1990 Geo Prizm which is the twin to the Corolla and I did that I pulled the muffler and believe me it sounds like crap...like a clunker. I wish I would have just had a loud exhaust put on I was so embarrassed by the noise the thing was making
