exhaust for 94 dodge dakota?

i have a 1994 dodge dakota and it has a flowmaster 40 series. it has only one pipe. it has a good loud rumble but when it hits 2200 rpm it is loud but it doesnt actually rumble. its a 4 speed automatic... my friend said that some vehicles with drive and overdrive do that... any body know how i can get the nice rumble constantly?
 
Without changing your trasmission type you may try adding duals after the cat. and add some echo chambers. Make sure you don't have factory dual catalytic converters, if you do that's primed and ready for dual exhaust.
