Exercising is causing me pain?

I need to lose weight and have been attempting exercise for quite some time now. I watch the personal training videos and exercise channels and warm up my body with stretching but I always end up injured somehow.

Not long ago I developed Sciatica in my right leg, it was more annoying than painful and eventually went away. Now I have a weird pain I can't pinpoint but it "feels" like it's behind my heart and left shoulder at the same time. It comes in small "shocks" and worries me a bit.

I just feel very frustrated, I want and need to lose weight but I am so tired of hurting myself.

Will it get better or am I doing something wrong?
