I am quite a bit over weight and want to trim down. I have cut myself down to 1200 calories a day and exercise 1-1.5 hrs. a day, In the first month I lost 12 lbs. and 7.5 inches. The last 2 weeks the scale hasn't moved but I think I'm still getting smaller. Why Is this? Any suggestions?

Exercising develops muscles. It may not be obvious right now, but under those fats that you have are muscles that have been develop due to your routine exercise. These muscles also contribute to your overall body weight so even if you lose inches of fat, you are still gaining a little amount of weight. Do some different routine exercise. Run more and improve your cardio exercise. Increase your metabolic rate by toning your muscles. Eat less in the evening and add more fibers so your internal system will be cleansed during your bowel movement.
