I had my appendix removed on Sunday night and had some follow up complications due to the medications the hospital put me on. Now I can't exercise for two weeks, apparently. My question is mostly for runners out there: I'm training for my first 1/2-marathon in exactly 1 month...will I be able to still run it if I take these two weeks off of training and then have only 2 weeks before the actual race to start running again? I'm very nervous about this! Thanks!
