Exercises to make me curvier.?

In two months I have an event, and I have bought the most amazing body con dress. Problem is, I am naturally quite skinny and boyish shape (which i'm not complaining about, but i would really love to look 'womanly' in this dress, rather than like a twig.)

I tried putting on weight- but it all went to my stomach and looked gross, so i got rid of that pretty sharpish. So right now I'm working on exercises that bulk out my thighs and hips, and exercises to make my waist smaller to create the illusion that i'm an hourglass. Anyone got any suggestions? or any other tips on how to become curvier?
