Hi:
For the past few months, I've been experiencing 'mild' Back Pain and I mentioned to my Neurologist when I got 'muscle relaxant' for my upper leg pain which has been for years.

He did not rx for my back-pain, ... instead gave me a piece of paper demonstrating for 'Back Exercise.' However, that form of 'Back Exercise' takes me more than 15 - 30 minutes per exercise and neeRAB to do twice a day, morning and evening. :(

Just wonder whether 'Back-Exercise' is normal procedure for 'mild' form of Back Pain, ... or should have gotten a 'Back-Pain' med?

Thanks for any imputs and insights on this.

Exercise is the best treatment for mild muscular back pain. Yes, it takes a lot of time, but it's worth it. The exercises will loosen the tight muscles that cause the pain. At this point in my life, I know I'll never get to sleep if I don't do my back exercises first, because it'll just hurt too much.

I'll always use exercise over meRAB. It works much better for pain that is muscle based. I know the time factor well, but being pain free is worth it.
